Discus is a floating, mirror-polished stainless-steel wall element that embodies an ideology of purity and sculptural simplicity.

My aim was to create a piece of wall furniture that expands the sense of space without functioning as a traditional glass mirror while reducing the object to its most essential form—allowing the material’s inherent qualities to remain unobstructed and unadorned.

The design is centered on achieving a flawless, rounded circumference that interacts with movement and shifts in light. This form exudes both calmness and dynamism, with a refined simplicity that encourages subtle engagement.

Discus-Polara is crafted exclusively from infinitely recyclable stainless steel, offering a distinctive interplay of reflectivity and diffusion, enhanced through an experimental bead-blasted surface treatment. 70cm dia x 3.5cm depth

Discus-Solara, in contrast, is a polished brass variation, radiating a warm, golden light designed to enrich a space and evoke a sense of positivity in the user’s reflection. 70cm dia x 3.5cm depth
